Lolita Orca Ale

PicturePhoto by Stephan Ferry. http://sjiphoto.com/
The concept for Lolita Orca Ale was born in the mind of Liberty Miller as a way to reach a new audience and spread the word of marine conservation.
Brewed by Kulshan Brewing in Bellingham, Washington State, the purpose and mission of this beer was to raise awareness for the plight of Lolita, a Southern Resident Puget Sound orca captured in Penn Cove, Whidbey Island in 1970 and held in captivity to this day at the Miami SeaQuarium.
Proceeds from sales of this beer were donated to the Orca Network, the non-profit working tirelessly in the hope of having Lolita released back into the wild with her family, who still reside in Puget Sound (L Pod).
A massive thank you to Kulshan Brewing for turning an idea into a drinkable good cause!
